About PRNfilms

PRN Films was set up by Dr Paul Trotman to make high end medical documentaries for television both in New Zealand and internationally. ‘Donated to Science’ about medical students doing human dissection, and the people they work on has been seen around the world and has won a bunch of awards. ¬†The sequel, following the same students on the wards, has just been on TV3 and we are currently prevaricating over the feature version. ¬†Other recent projects include ‘A Good Death’ (see www.agooddeath.co.nz) about a paradigm shift in end of life care in COPD, and ‘Xeno’ about the world’s first xenotransplant trial.

Currently filming is a film about life at the sharp end of the New Zealand healthcare system.
